Our team understands the hectic lifestyle of a jockey and are perfectly placed to offer nutritional support with dietary queries, making weight, and menu ideas to help jockeys gain that athlete mindset and give them the edge they need.

Meet The Team

Julia Scott-Douglas (Team Leader, East/Midlands) Tel: 07768 996296

Julia, a freelance nutritionist and accredited sports Dietitian has been the PJA team leader for over 15 years. She has been the tutor in nutrition at the BRS for 15 years and has been working with GB Equestrian for over 10 years. Julia is based in East Anglia.

Dan Martin (North & LJMU) Tel: 07902 151916

Dan is a SENr accredited Performance Nutritionist and has been with the team since 2013. Dan delivers nutrition modules at the NHC and runs clinics at Jack Berry House and at Liverpool John Moores University where he is a Post-Doctoral Researcher and Lecturer. Dan also works for Team GB Equestrian and in Championship football.

Hannah is a Registered Performance Dietitian who joined the team in April 2018 and is based at Oaksey House on Friday mornings. She also works within the NHS, as well as seeing private clients and supporting sports clubs and teams.

Oliver joined the team in January 2020 and is based at Peter O’Sullevan House, Newmarket every Monday. He is an accredited performance nutrition consultant who has experience supporting a wide range of athletes & teams from university scholars to academy footballer
