Pro Am Golf Day

64 guests and jockeys gathered at the beautiful Frilford Heath Golf Club on Monday 18th May 2026 for the return of our annual PJA/Racing TV Pro Am Golf Tournament.   

Amongst the jockeys past and present who took part were Daryl Jacob, George Baker, Gavin Sheehan, Carl Llewellyn and Brendan Powell to name just a few. A number of fundraising activities were also held on the day to raise funds for the Injured Jockeys Fund.   

The ‘Howden Insurance’ team, led by jockey Brendan Powell, emerged as the winners at the end of the day beating the ‘BHA’ team, led by Alan Johns, into runner-up position by just one point.    

Robbie Henderson from the ‘Howden Insurance’ team took the top individual prize whilst Carl Llewellyn took the top jockey title very narrowly beating Brendan Powell into second place. Rich Payne from the ‘Jockey Club Catering’ team produced the ‘nearest the pin’ shot whilst Chris Murtagh from the ‘Racing TV 5’ team took the prize for the ‘Longest Drive’ of the day.
