IMPORTANT
In the event of a Member wishing to claim on this Scheme for either Disciplinary or Motoring offences, they should contact the PJA immediately. Please note it is necessary for the PJA to agree to a solicitor’s appointment before any work is undertaken on behalf of the jockey.
In the event of a motoring prosecution outside their local area, jockeys may be able to use their own solicitor initially but an Agent in the area the offence occurred may be appointed to handle the case on the day. This is normal procedure to cut excessive costs.
