The Champions' Lunch

The Champions Lunch 2009 was held in the beautiful Parade Ring restaurant at Ascot Racecourse on Friday 20th November. Hosted by BBC presenter Rishi Persad, the day was an exceptional reunion of Flat & Jump Champion Jockeys with Champions attending included Lester Piggott, John Francome, Ryan Moore, Kieren Fallon, Peter Scudamore, Joe Mercer & Jonjo O'Neill to name just a few.

Following the awards presentations, each table of guests enjoyed a delicious brunch in the company of the Champion Jockey hosting their table, giving them the unique opportunity to engage with all the Champions present. The day concluded with an exciting afternoon of Jump racing and a fun 'Champions sweepstake' in aid of the Injured Jockeys Fund.
