ChampschampschampThe British Jockey Championship titles are awarded to the jockey or jockeys who have numerically ridden the most winners during a set period, which define the Flat, Jump and All Weather Horseracing Seasons.  The categories and periods of each are as follows:

British Jump Jockeys Championship
Winners in National Hunt races from Saturday 29 April 2007 to 26 April 2008.
Current British Champion Jump Jockey: AP McCoy (Champion since 1995/1996 Season)  

British Flat Jockeys Championship
Winners of both Flat and All Weather races taking place from Saturday 22 March 2008 to the last race at the Doncaster turf meeting on Saturday 8 November 2008
Current British Champion Flat Jockey: Jamie Spencer and Seb Sanders  

British All Weather Jockeys Championship
Winners of flat races taking place on the All Weather from Saturday 10 November 2007 to Thursday 20 March 2008.

British Conditional Jump Jockeys Championship
Winners of National Hunt races from Saturday 29 April 2007 to 26 April 2008.
