From 2nd April 2011, Jockeys incurring a one day suspension now have the flexibility to choose their suspension day within a given period.
An application in writing must be made to the BHA during office hours once the deadline for an appeal has elapsed (48 hours) and before the deadline for declaration of Jockeys has passed.
In any event, the 1 day suspension must be served before or on the 14th day following the incident. Should you however, wish to serve the 1 day suspension on its original date no further action needs to be taken
