Mission Statement
To promote, protect and represent the interests of professional jockeys both on and off the racecourse working with regulatory, industry and commercial bodies to secure agreements to the benefit of all and continually working in the best interest of British horseracing.

Jockeys Support
The PJA is dedicated to supporting jockeys in all aspects of their profession and negotiates with all the racing authorities and other trade bodies to improve the jockeys’ standing.  It gives support with any problems which may arise and offers a personal service.

Sponsorship
The ability for jockeys to carry sponsors’ branding came into being in 1999. The most popular form of sponsorship is branding, with jockeys wearing a specific logo on their breeches and polo necks.
